Responsibilities

  • Work with clients who have mental health needs
  • Return to work planning & coordination
  • Visits to job site, home and hospital as needed
  • Ergonomic assessments
  • Hospital discharge coordination
  • Case management

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Registered Member with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)
  • Experience or Education in: Brain Injury Rehabilitation / Compensatory/ Remedial Treatment Strategies / Behavior Management in TBI / Mental Health & Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) / Concussion and Post-Concussive Syndrome (PCS) / Vision Assessment / Pre-Driver Screening
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Driver’s License

Ideal Candidate

  • Polite and assertive communication skills
  • Enjoy flexible caseloads and setting your own schedule
  • Strong critical thinking skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in the community
  • Experience working with insurance companies (ICBC, WorksafeBC, etc)
  • Comfortable using a paperless cloud-based solution for all work
  • Strong critical thinking skills
